Some people prefer K-cups for the convenience.. most of the time when I travel I don't have time/don't want to bother with measuring coffee grounds and brewing coffee. Why not offer a choice? We use the Ninja dualbrew

We have a simple stainless Hamilton beach coffee maker which you can find at any walmart or on amazon. It's basic and one thing I don't want to have to deal with is resetting the clock everytime someone unplugs it.

MrCofee makes a simple coffee marker with just a single button. Impossible for any guest to mess it up.

We live in a city with no less than 5 coffee shops within a few minutes walk so most guests venture out to get a coffee. However we do provide a Nespresso machine as well as a kettle and pourover drip.

Check out Bonavita. Indestructible, easy to use with only 1 button. Theres really only 2 options available, 5 cup and 8 cup which are both on Amazon. I don't think i've ever seen them sold in stores.

I highly recommend getting a kettle too…preferably an electric one. I travel full time and stay long term in airbnbs. I travel with my own coffee maker (a pour over) and not having an easy, quick way to get hot water to make coffee is frustrating. If anyone ever travels to Asia you’ll now what I’m talking about .. all the hotels come standard with hot water kettles.

Personally, I do prefer fresh ground coffee, but I'm a bit of a coffee aficionado. But for my Airbnb I offer a Keurig just because it's so much easier than trying to have fresh coffee grounds. Then you have the mess of the filter and making sure the coffee pot is spotless before each guest and it's just too much to deal with. Since 2017 I have not had a single complaint about offering a Keurig.
