Guest with many visitors - nancy3370 - 04-12-2025
Hi hosts,
I would like some advice on how I may address this situation. I have a current guest who booked our 2 bedroom home for the weekend and mentioned 3 guests. We saw on the camera there are 4 cars in the driveway and on the camera notifications where 7 additional people came (total 10). So far my neighbors havent complained but I just don't want things to get out of hand.
Should I reach out to the guest to remind them that the reservation is for three people? Or maybe Airbnb support or for now wait to see how things play out? I don’t want to escalate unnecessarily, but I also want to protect my property.

How comfortable are you to confront the guests? Are you located close to the property and if things were to escalate, would you be showing up yourself to potentially evict the guests? I would send a polite reminder about guest capacity to let them know you are on top of things but at this time if you are not aware of things getting out of hand do not escalate by forcing them to ask the additional visitors to leave.

How long is the booking? Is it just a 1 night stay and did they mention what they are here for?

It is a 3 night stay and they mention they are visiting for a concert.
UPDATE: All guests seem to have left. I did not reach out to the guest but will send them a friendly reminder on the number of guests in case everyone decides to come back.
