Bookings Slowdown? - civiljump - 04-26-2025
I'm a host out in Nevada and just had two guests cancel for May (including over Memorial Day weekend). The rest of my calendar looks pretty weak as well in term's of bookings compared to last year. What are ya'll hosts experiencing for 2025 so far??

Yes, most hosts are seeing less bookings than a few years ago. If you’re not already on Airbnb, VRBO and Booking you should consider it. We are getting a lot of VRBO bookings for some reason. My cleaner told me that ALL of the properties she used to clean in my vicinity have now shut down.

It’s crickets here for us too. I just cut our prices by 30% for this month to try and get some traction and we did get one booking… but you’re not alone.

Looks like it's confirmed.. Airbnb earnings mentioned "softer" results in the U.S. Looks like the Canadians are now flocking to Mexico. Time to invest in Mexico and buy Pesos!!!!

Arizona hosts here, definitely have seen a slowdown in bookings even though the summer months are the slower periods due to the weather.

Our property as solid bookings into the summer with no noticeable drops from last year. We are in a touristy area near a lake. Slower than when we first started 7 years ago? That's a yes for sure.
