I think the Vegas market is way saturated in more ways than one. I'm getting offers for free rooms on the Strip with CET, even on the weekends. Resorts World is getting desperate and waiving resort fees. Visitor numbers are down. This is the first year I don't have a single August booking so far..

So far this summer I have not gotten a single booking from the "tourist" crowd. It's all been people coming to visit families or convention goers. The strip prices are crazy low now too..

Speaking of conventions, did anyone here host people going to the bodybuilding convention at Southpoint a few weekends ago? Never had so many towels ruined with bronzer before...

Sounds like Clark County is going to get serious about cracking down on September 1st. Did everyone else get the email from Airbnb? For one thing, I am glad that they are getting involved as they have some deep pockets. Hopefully this will speed things up in court and expose how ridiculously slow the whole permitting process has been.
