New Guests to Airbnb - Palal - 09-19-2025 Longtime lurker here and new to hosting. I’m curious if you would recommend allowing new guests with no reviews stay at your place? We have a couple requesting to book from Atlanta but they have very little info and only staying for two nights mid-week. I’m a bit inexperienced and it makes me a bit uneasy. We have auto-book off - should I approve this booking request? RE: New Guests to Airbnb - myl0rd - 09-19-2025 We have hosted plenty of guests with no reviews or new accounts. If it will help you feel more comfortable, provide a reminder to your guests of any particular rules you have for your listing or point out any quirks to make sure they are comfortable with it and ask them for a few more details about their trip. It will help if you have a template or script for these situations, it won't be the first time you get a new guest inquiry. RE: New Guests to Airbnb - UnixMan - 09-20-2025 We’ve used AirBnb probably 3 times now. We are always respectful and clean and leave the place better than we found it, but because for the first couple years we didn’t know about the review system, we never left any and so we never got any. I wouldn’t discount people with no reviews if that’s the only issue. RE: New Guests to Airbnb - TheFink - 09-20-2025 My last 2 guests had no reviews. Never had a problem and they all left great reviews. I have no problem renting to first timers on Airbnb. They usually say why they are coming into town and since I am in a college town it either looking at the college or family reunions |
