Minimum nights glitch - ChrisFromTheOC - 10-18-2025 Anyone ever experience an issue where you have set a minimum number of nights (in my case 4) but for some reason guests are still able to send an inquiry/request for 2 nights? Just had it happen for the 2nd time. RE: Minimum nights glitch - Kcgal - 10-19-2025 I've had this happen to me with increasing frequency as well. We have a 3 night minimum but have been getting requests for 2 nights. Not sure if it's a scam thing either, since the inquiry messages that come with these lower night requests seem to be a bit on the strange side. Next time this happens i'll escalate to customer service. RE: Minimum nights glitch - ChrisFromTheOC - 10-19-2025 Here's what the customer service AI bot said... still doesnt make 100% sense because it was more than an inquiry but a complete request. Guests can send inquiries for dates that don't meet your minimum night requirements because an inquiry is just a message asking for more information. It's a way for them to express interest before sending a formal booking request. Here's how you can manage this: Review your minimum night settings to ensure they're correctly configured. When you receive an inquiry for dates below your minimum nights, you can respond to the guest explaining your policy and suggesting alternative dates. You can also decline the inquiry, which prevents the guest from sending a formal booking request for those dates. Remember, it's important to communicate clearly with your guests to help them understand your policies and find a date that works for both of you. |
