VRBO host dissappearing messages - malbik - 12-08-2025
I’ve been an Airbnb host for about a year. I recently put our listing up on Vrbo as well . I received two different customers for a month long stay but messages sent are blocked? The thread says “this message did not comply with Vrbo terms and conditions’ Is VRBO preventing a scam? I’ve never seen this as an Airbnb host.

They are protecting you from common scammer methods that are probably caught through early AI detection. You should do some research into popular scams first vacation rentals so you can look out for the warning signs, especially on these month long stays.
