Terrible Guest - cancellation advice - Dan115 - 01-07-2024
I have a terrible guest that has booked for a month. It is a shared space, and he is rude, always demanding and now it is getting into a downright awkward situation when we meet and quite unpleasant. Will I be penalized for cancelling the stay and if I do proceed, what reasons to give?

Do you have a valid safety issue? If not, it may be difficult to cancel without penalty as it's obviously frowned upon during a stay.

Your best bet may be to see if you can reach an amicable solution with the guest. Perhaps he is miserable there and hopefully will be willing to leave if you just offer him his money back. Then you can just modify the reservation.
