We have a property in the path of Helene and the guests who are arriving in the midst of the storm are pretty insistent on coming. Theres already alot of flooding around town and I'm pretty sure there will be nothing to do outdoors (or indoors as most stores are closed). We've already reached out to let them know the situation as well as the potential for power outages... but they responded with "we will definitely be coming when the rain slows down later this week!"

Is it worth reaching out to them again to let them know what's going on or will it just annoy them since they made up their minds?

You're a good host to warn them ahead of time… but you also run a risk that they could leave you with a poor review due to the weather (possible power outages, flooding etc) .

Our Airbnb is in the mountains of North Carolina. I’m on the New River in Ashe County. A tornado came through the area last night and I hear tomorrow is going to be worse. I’ve got guests booked this weekend too but I have a property manager that handles it all so I’m not too worried as I haven’t heard of any issues to our place. Hopefully your guests have a great weekend! Stay safe!

The guests actually reached back today to cancel. They saw what was happening yesterday with the flooding and mentioned they longer feel safe traveling. Issue resolved!
