What are the pros and cons?

White Duvet covers so they can be bleached.

We have comforters which can be thrown in the wash and cleaned. I believe they were from IKEA. But we are in a warm climate and these are pretty light.

We use a Duvet, it's more work to take the comforter out each time and then re-insert but it's easier to clean/dry.

We have a quilt with a fleece on top. The quilts fit into our washing machine and we don't do same day turnovers so we have more time to wash and clean.

Sam's club has a brand of comforters called London Fog which can be washed/bleached.
