Hello Fellow Hosts,

We host in Florida and we are looking to upgrade the quality of bed sheets and towels while keeping costs reasonable. If you have any recommendations for durable, comfortable, and budget-friendly options, I’d love to hear your suggestions. We consider our-selves mid tier and get mostly families and are not shooting to be a ultra "luxury" listing.

Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
BawwstonBen

California Design Den sheets are durable and comfortable. You can buy from their website direct to avoid big evil Amazon.

I started using linen bedding for myself and haven't looked back. Replaced everything in the str with these as well.

What sold me was with each wash they get softer and softer, but mainly the durability. We have 2 dogs, one quite large, that sleep in our bed and their nails have shredded silk, cotton, percale, all the fabrics... but linen has been going strong for well over a year.

Costco Hotel Signature are amazing and have a silky texture even thought they are cotton... we go with these on our beds in our listings, but beware they are not the cheapest option at $110 regular price.

Costco is great quality if you have a membership and want something mid-range.

I recently joined HostGPO which is a group purchasing organization that provides significant discounts on items you need for STRs. They carry Standard Textile and offer “bed boxes” with everything you need. Whats great is you can order more of just the items that need to be replaced frequently like fitted sheets at the same low price.

I buy microfiber sheets from Costco. Despite all the negative comments about microfiber, I've never had an issue with them. They're cheap and often go on sale, hold up great and don't wrinkle. I've been hosting for over 2 years and still using some of the same sheets. My guests have never complained. For towels we use Treshold from Target.

I go with these on the Kings and something more budget friendly on the Twin XLs, because whoever sleeps in those beds aint leaving reviews. They are currently $10 off. Oh.. and Costco is also running a promotion on membership giftcards until the end of January!

Mid-tier, high-tier... I would still use inexpensive bedding. When guests have accidents, I just replace the bedding and mattress protector and move on, I don't come after them or ding them. It's easier for me this way. If you're will to buy in bulk (10+) check out Ganesh oxford t-250 from hotel supplies.

Walmart's in-house Mainstays brand has a cotton/poly blend that is super affordable, very durable, washes clean (despite guests' best efforts) and comes in a variety of colors (I just use white). That is my go-to!

We use cotton sheets that are high quality but lower in cost. California Design Den from Amazon. I use the 400 thread count and they are great. Have also used the organic which I also like.
