Last five inquiries I’ve had have been asking to book on behalf of a third party which I think is against Airbnb terms. Is there an uptick with this or is it just coincidence? What are you Airbnb hosts seeing?

We get them from time to time..not worth it. AirCover won't pay. The identity of the 3rd party isn't validated. It's not an issue until it's an issue. No amount of money is worth that risk.

Are people telling you through an inquiry it is a 3rd party booking or is it through a business? There is an "Airbnb for work" feature which allows guests to book for work travel which should be fairly safe. We personally have not recieved any 3rd party booking inquiries, but to be honest if someone did book for a family member and didn't mention it we wouldnt have noticed since all our stays have gone well.
