New-ish host here. Just in case I ever need to use it, to those of you that have used aircover, how easy was the process and what was the success rate?

Used twice, aircover covered both times. Just make sure you have a receipt of the item you are buying. They were both smaller cheap items which generally get approved quicker. In our case we had a comforter ruined with blood and a lamp which was broken.

Had a guest put a hole in the wall once. Sent guest a request from the quote from the handyman ($300), escalated to aircover once they declined to pay. Got approved in a few days

Our steaming iron went missing and guest did not respond to our replacement request. Bought a new one on Amazon, aircover sent funds within a week.

We had a larger request of around $2,000 due to longer term guests damaging flooring. Took around 2 weeks to get approved.
