Fellow hosts what advice do you have for a burn marks on a fabric gray couch? I can't just flip the cushion over because the other side doesnt have the same pattern and has velcro in place to hold the seat in place. I have guests coming in 2 days so I obviously don't have time to get it repaired. Is there some other way to quickly and temporarily hide/fix this?

Do you have a Michaels/Joannes/Hobby Lobby near you? Get some gray fabric and make a patch. They also have kits on Amazon which can arrive next day if you have Amazon prime.

I've tried to DIY something similar before and I honestly was never satisfied with the result. I would just inform your upcoming guests that there was some prior damage, offer them an apology in advance and have it professionally repaired when you have more time. Don't forget to file the aircover claim within 2 weeks and save your receipts.

That burn honestly looks small enough that you could temporarily use gray/dark marker on the white filling underneath which appears through the hole so that the burn itself isn't that noticeable. If you're in a rush for a temporary fix I would go that route and then have it professionally repaired or order a repair kit from Amazon if you are handy.

I'm just going to color the fabric underneath for now and give the guest a heads up that there is some prior damage. Tks all!
