How many of you hosts actually permit pets, and what are you doing for pet fees?

We charge $50 (no cats) but honestly have only had 1 inquiry about a Dog out of 60 stays so it hasn't been a game changer.

$200 for the first dog $100 for second.

Dogs beat up a house. I have scratch marks on doors and moldings which we repaint every 6 months. The floors get beat up (even hardwood).

So that extra money goes to maintenance and extra cleaners. We have 1 acre fenced in. It’s a very special place for dogs and no one has bothered me about the fee. We are a luxury rental that accepts dogs, which is hard to find.

And the owners save money because they don’t need a pet sitter and their pet has a great trip.
