Well, we had our first bad guest. I have a small one bedroom cottage so typically it’s just couples or girlfriends coming for the tourist area and leaving the place impeccable.
It started with the guest parking in the neighbors driveway despite clear instructions on where to park. She didn’t respond when the neighbor knocked on the door or when I sent her messages telling her to move, despite reading them. My neighbor was understandably angry because he couldn’t get into his parking spot, and had to park at the end of the street. She finally responded the next morning and moved her car to the correct spot. On checkout day, she asked if she could check out late, and we told her she could but to confirm when she’s out so i know when to send in the cleaner. She never responded, and never confirmed checkout.
My cleaner just let me know that there was vomit all over the towels and linens, and empty bottles of alcohol everywhere.
Am I overreacting or does this warrant a bad review? What would you give the guest?
